‘The greatest women’s healthcare provider' in Stockton

“I came here, and I talked to Christy, and she gave me this one medication, and it worked,” Jane recalls. “The first time I saw her, I told her about my condition, she gave me the medication, and it stopped.”

A West Lane patient (we'll call her Jane) didn’t mince words recently when she posted a comment on the NRC Health website about her visit in late May to see CMC Nurse Practitioner Christy Henderson-Peterson.

 

Christy, the patient wrote, is the “greatest women’s healthcare provider I know in Stockton, California.”

 

Jane says she has been a CMC patient for “a couple of years.” For several years before that, she says she had been unable to get a correct diagnosis of a women’s health issue from several non-CMC providers she’d visited. Finally, after Jane enrolled with CMC, she made an appointment to see Christy, CMC’s Associate Medical Director of Women's Health.

 

Christy expressed appreciation for Jane's words of admiration.

 

“It’s a huge compliment,” she says. “We try to do everything we can for our patients. I treat every patient as them being a family member: What would I want done for my family? We have a lot to offer at CMC, and I think we go the extra mile whenever we can.”

 

West Lane Center Manager April Cox says of Christy, “She’s a huge advocate for patients.”

 

“She’s really nice,” Jane says. “She’ll do anything she can to help her patients. I was lucky to find her. It’s a blessing. She’s the most precious women’s health provider I’ve had in my whole life. With her healing hands, she can cure anyone.”
